WHY MARSHALL?
When we think about The Annual Hendrix Memorial Festival being held in the UK coupled with the prospect of Marshall being a key partner to this impending new milestone, three words spring to mind "mean't to be...".

We're in the know on Jimi's and Marshall's
history of affiliations and previous working relationship of the 60's. It's nice to see that even in Jimi's passing, both his legacy and Marshall are still going strong.  And since his passing, Jimi's undeniably infectiously charming legacy has been embraced by generations upon generations of music and art lovers as well as many other global communities. 

Inspired by Jimi's love for the UK and the new age, journey of Jimi's niece, Tina Hendrix on her quest to build to a flourish The Hendrix Music Academy; in doing what she believes is "right" by her uncle Jimi's code of ethics; UK is proud to bring The Annual Hendrix Memorial Festival to a full production bloom in the Isle of Wight; maintaining a new wave of continuity and relations between Hendrix, our beautiful land and, the people.

A time stamp has been templated to stabilise and enable the solid expansion of The Hendrix Music Academy in Jimi's hometown of Seattle. Part of this expansion is set to involve the extending of the Academy to England, holding a permanent residence of service for  under 21's in the UK, giving the overall of this project even greater focus and goals.

emorial Festival and The Hendrix Music Academy are the perfect professional serendipitous realms to rekindle and elevate a modern day relationship of purpose between Marshall and Hendrix, albeit a newer generation of Hendrix and a more advanced Marshall; nonetheless, bringing about new lanes for success not just for the two parties in question but for a next generation of creatives. Can you just imagine what Jimi Hendrix and Jim(i) Marshall would say if they could see what's (potentially) about to happen. do you think they'd say "just do it?!" We're sure they'd be proud and happy... The ripples are endless... and they lean towards "Marshall" from every space. This is why Planet Tutu Media is approaching Marshall Amplifications to partner with us for the Annual Hendrix Memorial Festival.

Now is a good time to reiterate and remind all as to the fundamental of why The Annual Hendrix Memorial Festival is taking place.

 

The Hendrix Music Academy is a charity that is in need of funds to sustain and grow in helping under 21's from marginalised communities with free music lessons of their discipline along with life lessons for wellbeing.

Marshall's carefully structured journey into a fruitful partnership with The Annual Hendrix Memorial, Festival initially takes hold by firstly, initiating an insertion of a working relationship with The Hendrix Music Academy.  As we work towards meeting the brilliantly commendable needs of the Academy, all partners, including Marshall will in turn, automatically have their needs and goals met also. TALENT SPOTLIGHT INITIATIVE:

"Talent Spotlight" is an initiative devised by Planet Tutu Media and is currently tied exclusively to the Hendrix Music Academy.  Simply put, it does what it says; highlights new raw talent with a view to nurture the artist (through the workings of The Hendrix Music Academy) to a point of record label signing thus. providing a new "Talent Spotlight"!

 

Under  the guise of a sponsored partnership, Talent Spotlight aims to put Marshall in an enviable position; that being an independent record label, working directly with Jimi Hendrix's only namesake Music Academy in any space of the world. Marshall will play a key role in making new waves in our creativity sphere, in modern times and culture.

A new structure of branding is being put in place for the Hendrix Music Academy which is to include, high focus on nurturing untapped talent in the US, for potential signings. It is through "Talent Spotlight that there can be a direct line of structure for  new talent to access independent labels for mutual benefit.  Planet Tutu Media would be offering an "exclusive" Creative Development Partnership in reference to these nurtured artists having been trained by the Hendrix Music Academy. The aim is to find new gems each year (quality over quantity)  

 

With Marshall being a prospective partner, it gives a further opportunity for Marshall Records to choose applicable talent from its existing roster to further expand their brand to the US through extended, tailored masterclasses for the students of The Hendrix Music Academy; for which,  the charity would pay for. Allowing some lesser known artists to continue to contribute to the industry as Marshall continues to contribute to their artist's career.

Each festival year, a select one or two outstanding talents from The Hendrix Music Academy's Talent Spotlight Program teachings, will perform live at the festival via "Marshall's Mosh Pit" (See below). by way of 'supporting a new generation'.

America is a vast space and the idea of taking an exceptional talent, nurtured by The Hendrix Music Academy is an industry ticket that would be held exclusively by Marshall Records. It can be used to spring board into many directions but in the initial, it opens doors for a shared responsibility to come together in "Supporting a New Generation". There's clear intention, allowing room for a tangible, solid foundation of partnerships.

We've only just begun into the structuring of partnership but already, the gains for all parties are clear and when you look below at branding like the examples B), B1) and B2) you can see, the PR potentials are endless.

The above, outlined, foundation of partnerships, provides a key PR solution with for any intellectual property stipulations regarding photographic images of Jimi Hendrix.

 

TAHMF & Talent Spotlight projects are official acts of support of the Hendrix Music Academy Charity, Tina Hendrix has given license for Planet Tutu Media to use the charity's official logo. The logo comprises two elements; "The Hendrix Music Academy" font and a photograph image of "Jimi Hendrix" licensed to The Hendrix Music Academy, owned by, Tina Hendrix. 

In the event of media & press content, The Hendrix Music Academy logo will be is the visual aid which gives Marshall a solution to their previous query of image ry of Jimi and is a great way to promote the Hendrix Music Academy at the same time.

THE MARSHALL MOSH PIT

We're now on our way, we're headed to the Annual Hendrix Memorial Festival and as a sponsored Partner, Marshal can expect to take up a clear residence at the festival once we arrive Via "Marshall's Mosh Pit"

Marshall's Mosh Pit is effectively a live music festival tent housing a capacity of 10,000. This is Marshall's "home game"! an opportunity to showcase their record label talent on their own turf! And as mentioned earlier, this is the space in which, both Marshall and The Hendrix Music Academy proudly showcase their mentoring and teaching skills with 1 (or 2) new artist(s) from the Academy.

 

As a sponsored partner, Marshall can look forward to "moshing" it every year!, The MMP would be a staple addition to the Annual Hendrix Memorial Festival and will be branded as a main feature of the festival with great PR spins to add, alongside the Hendrix stage..

BATTLE OF THE BLUETOOTH:

Bluetooth has been leading the modern way of "on the go" music consumption for some years. At this point, no respectable audio tech company would deem themselves worthy in todays industry if they couldn't be cited for their annual newest edition of bluetooth  speaker collection. Indeed, it's a fierce market space with each competitor vying for consumer attention. If only there were an iconic way for just one of these audio tech competitors to present their bluetooth wares to a desired demographic in these modern times...Hmm? Cue The Annual Hendrix Memorial Festival...

 

As a Sponsored Partner, Marshall's Consumer Division will be instantly (re)aligned with a globally, iconic household name; which further aids catapulting Marshall to an even more enviable, iconic position of play than they currently are in todays market space. 

It's a music festival, the perfect setting and opportunity to have a friendly, bluetooth showdown with avid festival goers! Two days of head to head competition:

  • Opponents will bluetooth their phones to their respective Marshall speaker

  • Each will take it in turn to battle with  song choice to rock the house down

  • There are 3 rounds

  • The winner from each round goes through to semi final etc

  • The final will be held on the Sunday and the winner wins a TAHMF "coveted" Goodie bag, comprising of: A TAHMF T Shirt, A day pass to next years festival x2 and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker... "because they know what good music sounds like and they clearly appreciate a good time...! "

TAHMF PODCAST:

TAHMF will be producing  its own weekly bitesize podcasts as part of the promotional campaign. We'll be catching up with as many participants of the festival to talk all things music etc. This lends as another great opportunity for Marshall to showcase their build as a brand and company.

 

As partner, The Annual Hendrix Memorial Festival intends to put the spotlight on Marshall's Pro Division; Marshall's studios and strength in delivery of audio quality, subtly angled as an integral part of this leg of the production. In addition, listeners can and will be nudged to switch on with Marshall, Bluetooth speakers...

PLANET TUTU MEDIA'S WORDS TO MARSHALL:

Having read through the specifics of this page, we hope it's been made apparent that we are inviting Marshall into what will be a long haul relationship.

 

The first 3 years of this partnership will be between Planet Tutu Media as the production company championing this new festival and carving out additional pathways for nurtured talent between the US and UK/E.U.

 

It is Planet Tutu Media's desire to bring this project to the forefront in a space of cemented growth over a three-year period, after which, we intend to take a step back in the running of affairs with a clear understanding that our main task has in fact been completed.

The task is to successfully bring The Hendrix Music Academy to a space of clear service for those who desperately need a charity like the Hendrix Music Academy. And to a point whereby the Hendrix Music Academy can expand to the UK to serve the many in England who are in need of a reputable space of aid for a better future.  

Further to the above it is Planet Tutu's mission to bring the legacy of Hendrix back into a trusted relationship with UK via Marshall Amplifications as a symbol of "hope and forward progress in the music industry" 

As such, by asking Marshall to partner with this festival and all of its surrounding projects, we are in effect asking Marshall to "invest in self" with a full disclosure of knowledge that this which has been presented to you in its embryonic stage will flourish into a space of a glorious accomplishment for all who are lucky enough to play a roll (large or small) in the journey.

The Annual Hendrix Memorial is a great project that requires great dedication and execution, In order to fully apply all the necessary elements, a dedicated budget is, equally needed.

 

We are already in receipt of some of the artists riders and fees and whilst some of the artists are willing to reduce their fees on account of the intended being a benefit to raise funds, it is still within their prerogative to decipher what they would intend to charge for performances, we must respect that. Funds are required to not only pay the artists but indeed cover the numerous and various other areas that pull together to make this event a festival to remember
